Rick Perry is scheduled to be raising money in St. Pete Beach Oct. 26, at a morning, $1,000-per person fundraiser hosted by Tony Buzbee, Jose Cuevas, Dr. A.K. Desai, and Keith Overton. It will be at the Tradewinds Island Resort, where Overton is president. Buzbee is a Houston based lawyer who has filed numerous lawsuits against BP over the oil spill, and Cuevas is a Texas restauranteur whom Perry appointed to head the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. Desai, a St. Petersburg doctor and insurance executive, is Perry's most prominent Florida bundler.
