Rick Scott hits DC media circuit, social club
After some official business today in Washington D.C., Gov. Rick Scott will have a little fun tomorrow.
He has TV interviews scheduled in the morning with Bloomberg TV and a live one-on-one with Uma Pemmaraju of Fox News at noon.
After lunch with anti-taxer Grover Norquist and a meeting with his D.C. office staff, Scott will end the night at the 98th annual dinner of the Alfalfa Club.
The 200-member club's dinner is closed press and attracts a who's-who crowd of D.C. insiders. Here is Politico's story about Barack Obama's first dinner as president and the Washington Post's report from 2008.
