Rubio clear VP favorite at CPAC; Romney edges Santorum in straw poll

rubio_209890a.jpgFlorida Sen. Marco Rubio was the overwhelming favorite for VP among the CPAC straw poll. Rubio got 34 percent of the vote, followed by Chris Christie and Bob McDonnell at 9 percent. 

The Washington Times' national poll found Rubio tied with Christie.

In the presidential straw poll, Mitt Romney got 38 percent of the vote, followed by Rick Santorum (31) Newt Gingrich (15) and Ron Paul (12). Also Saturday, Romney won the Maine caucuses.
