Rubio headed to California for Reagan Library speech
Sen. Marco Rubio will deliver a speech at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California on Aug. 23, according to the presidential foundation.
It is Rubio's first (non Senate) speech outside Florida and will focus on the "proper role in government." He was invited by Nancy Reagan in January and took her up on the offer, waiting until after he delivered his maiden speech on the Senate floor, which paid homage to the former president.
Rubio will also fit in some fundraising.
