Rubio supporters greet Crist at Reagan Day dinner
When Gov. Charlie Crist pulled up to the Hillsborugh County Republican Party's first Reagan Day dinner Friday night, he faced about two dozen people waving signs in support of Marco Rubio, Crist's opponent in the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate in 2010. In typical Charlie fashion, he jumped out of the car and shook hands with Rubio's backers. Some of the Rubio backers said they planned to clean-up and attend the fundraiser after their roadside display. But not Cheryl Holley, who often attends those big fundraising events. She said she was specifically boycotting the dinner because of Crist's presence and her belief that he's not a true Republican. Read more about it here.
