Scott appoints four to Florida Poly trustees
Florida Polytechnic University's Board of Trustees is growing -- with Gov. Rick Scott appointing four more people on Friday:
- Mark Bostick, the president of Comcar Industries, who lives in Lake Wales.
- Robert H. Gidel, of Windemere, a managing partner of Liberty Capital Advisers
- Scott Hammack, CEO of Prolexic Inc, from Naples
- Kevin Hyman, the executive vice president of operations for Bright House Networks, from Winter Haven.
They join four other chosen Thursday by the Florida Board of Governors, which oversees the state university system. There are still five slots left -- two more to be appointed by the Governor, one more to be appointed by the Florida Board of Governors, and then a faculty and student representative.
