Scott: We'll sue federal government for database needed in voting purge
Gov. Rick Scott just said on Fox News that the state has no choice but sue the Department of Homeland Security to obtain a database needed in its review of noncitizen voters.
"We have a right to this database ... It's supposed to be used for voting registration. I look forward to them giving us the database but, again, we don't have a choice but to sue them this afternoon."
"This is not a partisan issue," Scott said on Your World Cavuto. "This is an issue that we need to have fair elections in our state."
