The secret Romney video makes its debut in a Florida TV ad
Pro-Obama Priorities USA Action says it's up in Florida with this ad seizing on the May fundraiser Romney held at Marc Leder's home in Boca Raton. Romney is heard saying 47 percent of the electorate are people who are "dependent upon government, who believe they are victims."
"Victims?" a narrator says. "Behind these doors middle-class families struggle. And Romney will make things even tougher." The 30-second spot will run on television and online in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin, Priorities said.
The Romney response:
“The facts are President Obama’s policies have led to record unemployment, increased poverty, falling incomes, and more uncertainty for the middle class. At every turn, even as families struggle, the President’s policies have fallen short, while growing government and increasing the debt. Mitt Romney’s plan will create greater prosperity among all Americans as opposed to redistributing it. Governor Romney will unleash the private sector, create 12 million jobs, and move our nation in the right direction.” – Jeff Bechdel, Romney spokesman
