Check out the 2010 Census population counts for Florida, showing which legislative and congressional district are most out of whack in terms of ideal population totals. Among members of Congress, it looks like Reps. Nugent, Ross, Mack, Posey, Rooney, Adams and Rivera need the most work.
Districts in Tampa Bay and South Florida had relatively stagnant population growth ( two Pinellas-based seats -- the Congressional seat held by U.S. Rep. Bill Young and the state senate held held by Dennis Jones -- actually lost population). The second-most population deficient districts are held by Congresswoman Frederica Wilson and state Sen. Chris Smith. The big population winners? The inland area along I-4, southwest Florida and suburban areas south of Jacksonville.
