Sharpe likely to make announcement soon on Congressional campaign
Don't be surprised if Republican Mark Sharpe announces by the end of the week that he is suspending his Congressional campaign against Democrat Kathy Castor. He's said in recent weeks that he is mulling that decision. He would be opting for suspension rather than pulling the plug altogether to see if the courts do anything to overturn Congressional districts as currently drawn. Castor's district makes a Republican challenge difficult due to its concentration of registered Democrats.
