Smith's New Spot



Look for a new Rod Smith TV ad up today - this one focusing on insurance. Meanwhile, the word is we can look for the first Jim Davis spot on the 8th, unless the campaign adjusts its plans.

UPDATE: Looks like the first "three-pack" ads (party ads that make a token mention of two other candidates) will go up any day - the same hurricane spot, but with a credit line also touting attorney general candidate Skip Campbell and state Rep. Joyce Cusack. Is this evidence of the supposed soft-money fundraising advantage Smith's allies have boasted of?  Said Smith: "I told you from the beginning that I believed  because of the disadvantage I had in funding, that I couldn’t raise (during the session), that I thought that would be offset by my ability to raise soft dollars.''
