Snitker will debate 'cowards' Crist, Rubio, Meek even if they won't debate him
The debate will go on, Libertarian U.S. Senate candidate Alex Snitker says.
Ticked off that he's been excluded, again, from a debate Wednesday with the three major candidates, Snitker said he'll stage a protest outside the ABC affiliate in Orlando. In an interesting twist, he also plans to answer debate questions, relayed by a staffer, to whomever will listen.
"Charlie Crist, Marco Rubio, and Kendrick Meek are cowards," Snitker said in a statement. "If they would like to prove me wrong, they should agree to include me in the upcoming debates. Why are these career politicians be afraid to face a regular citizen with no political experience?"
Snitker said his staff was warned by WFTV that he would be arrest for trespassing if he tried to enter the property. It's not uncommon for debate organizers to exlude candidates who do not poll above a certain threshold.
