With some reluctance from Florida, House Democrats keep Nancy Pelosi in charge
"The truth is, she is the face that defeated us in this last election," Rep. Allen Boyd, D-Monticello, who lost his reelection bid this month, said after House Democrats relutantly picked Nancy Pelosi as their leader.
Tampa Rep. Kathy Castor had also voiced reservations about Pelosi returning, saying she favored a fresh start.
Pelosi was certainly the Republican bête noire, but Boyd also got hammered for his votes for health care and the stimulus. Story here.
