Tampa Bay lawmakers get high marks on Jeb's report card
From our friends at The Gradebook: No surprise here, but Tampa Bay's Republican-dominated legislative delegation got almost A's on education policy from Jeb Bush's Foundation for Florida's Future, according to this report card released last week.
The top scorer: Freshman Rep. Jeff Brandes, R-St. Petersburg, who earned a 102. We're not sure how he got two points extra credit, but the grading was based on how closely lawmakers adhered to Bush's vision of education reform.
The lowest scorers: A tie between Sen. Arthenia Joyner, D-Tampa, and Rep. Janet Cruz, D-Tampa. Both got 0's.
