Teamsters for Davis
No surprise really, but the Teamsters gave its support to Jim Davis during a well attended picnic Saturday in Sunrise. It's not an insignificant nod: The union has about 25,000 active members and tens of thousands of retirees.

"In four weeks, the founding fathers of this country give us a gift. It is a day when we get to send a message to George Bush, to Jeb Bush, to Charlie Crist, that we are better than this, that we are ready for change, that we refuse to stay the course for what they are doing to our schools, our property taxes and our insurance bills," Davis said, apparently forgetting that hurricanes and other forces have played a role in insurance
