Tropical Storm Debby scrubs Gov. Scott visit in Tampa

TAMPA -- With more rain expected in Tampa Bay because Tropical Storm Debby has stalled in the Gulf, Gov. Rick Scott cancelled two events he had planned in Tampa today.

Instead, he will head back to Tallahassee and get a briefing on the storm at the Florida Division of Emergency Management. It's not clear if he will declare a state of emergency. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal pre-emptively called one there today.
