With a new poll showing the property tax amendment in trouble, can House Speaker Marco Rubio save the day?
Buzz is hearing the Miami Republican may be in Tallahassee tomorrow for a news event with major business groups backing the tax plan. Rubio wants to abolish property taxes all together, but supports the super homestead exemption as a "good first step."
UPDATE: The meeting has been postponed until next week, perhaps Wednesday, lobbyists tell the Buzz.
