Well, It Isn't the PSC, But...

Former Rep. Ken Littlefield has been appointed executive director of the Florida Statewide Advocacy Council.

Gov. Charlie Crist appointed him to the position today, two months after practically yanking him off the PSC. Littlefield had been a Gov. Jeb Bush appointment to the PSC and was sworn in. Then, Littlefield resigned from the PSC, after he was among some 200 appointees that Crist recalled.

Gov. Crist is waiting for the Senate to send him recommendations to re-appoint somebody new for that spot. In the meantime. . .

"Ken has a long history of community involvement and public service," Governor Crist said in a press release. "His legislative experience serving on health and human services committees provides a strong foundation for his new role with the Statewide Advocacy Council."
