A Wexler TV series

Never mind The West Wing. Get ready for The Hill, a new reality TV series that features the staff of Rep. Robert Wexler, D-Boca Raton. It will air Wednesdays at 9 on the Sundance Channel starting Aug. 23.

Although there's plenty of Wexler, the series follows his staffers and the daily challenges of running a congressional office.
The series focuses on Wexler’s Chief of Staff Eric Johnson, Communications Director Lale Mamaux, Legislative Director Jonathan Katz, Legislative Assistant Halie Soifer, and Wexler himself.

"There was nothing scripted," said Mamaux. "We’re a very opinionated office, we’re a very loud office. You’ll see Congressman Wexler is very open to a lot of opinions."

The six-part series also deals with the personal lives of the young Hill aides, including the fact that Mamaux and another Wexler staffer were - egads! - dating Republicans.
