Quick: Name the only two state candidates who have received personal campaign contributions from Gov. Jeb Bush in the current election cycle. We're talking nickels and dimes here, but the answer may surprise you. Send your guesses to this post. Answers to come in a couple of hours -- and
no peeking at the state elections database!
UPDATE: Robert Fernandez, a former legal adviser to Bush who's running for a Miami-Dade House seat, received $250 from the governor and Rep. Bruce Kyle of Fort Myers, who's termed out and running for circuit judge, got $100. Both checks were recorded on the same date: Aug. 23, 2005. (Oddly enough, Bush hasn't sent a nickel to Sen. Alex Villalobos of Miami. Oh, well. There's still time).
