Winner of the week: Florida GOP. The trial of former Florida Republican chairman Jim Greer, charged with stealing money from the party, promises to shine a light on some of the more unseemly practices of party leaders. Those leaders can be thankful that the trial has been postponed until after November's general election.

Loser of the week: Rachel Burgin. After insisting she had nothing to do with a particularly nasty mailer against Tom Lee, her rival in a state Senate Republican primary, it turns out she solicited $10,000 from a lobbyist who funded the mailer.
