Winner and loser of the week in Fla politics
Winner of the week: Florida Democrats. They may not have a lot to celebrate in Florida in eight days, but so far Democrats have dramatically cut into Florida Republicans' traditional advantage on absentee ballots and their early vote numbers look strong.
Loser of the week: Palm Beach County. Leave it to the "butterfly" ballot county. With another Democratic elections supervisor at the helm, Palm Beach County has screwed up the ballot in a neck-and-neck presidential race. All we need now is Pat Buchanan on the ballot.
