WSJ: Republican Plan B in Florida Senate race?

Wall Street Journal opinion writer Allysia Finley weighs in on Florida's U.S. Senate race and finds a disappointing cast of challengers to Bill Nelson.

Mr. Mack, whose father served in Congress for nearly two decades, seems to take the nomination for granted. ...

Mr. LeMieux has put forth more of an effort to win grassroots support—and has recently won three straw polls—but many Republican voters still consider his association with ex-Republican Gov. Charlie Crist a disqualifier. ...

At any rate, the primary isn't until Aug. 14, so there's still time for another Republican to join the race. It's unlikely that Mr. Bush will jump in, but if Mr. Mack's campaign doesn't improve soon, rank-and-file Republicans may start sending out draft notices to popular GOP politicians.

Column here.
