Crist releases his first TV ad, vows to raise minimum wage
Charlie Crist is up with his first TV ad, after weeks of getting hammered by Gov. Rick Scott.
In the ad, Crist pledges to raise the minimum wage (though says nothing of opposition he'd encounter) "demand equal pay for women" and increase school funding. "I’ll fight for you ... from sunrise to sunset. I always have and I always will," says Crist.
Florida Democrats began advertising last month. But Scott has been on TV for months -- his first spot attacking Crist came last November -- and he has already spent millions, a result shown in poll numbers.
Crist's campaign did not release details of the ad buy.
