10

January

If David Jolly wins the Republican nomination to succeed the late U.S. Rep. C.W. Bill Young Tuesday, the explanation will be simple: Money to advertise. His main rival, Kathleen Peters, hasn't been on TV since Dec, 26, while Jolly has been continually on TV since Dec. 13. Most recently, he spent $25,403 on cable tv spots Jan. 3-9 and from Jan. 10-14 is spending $28,248 on broadcast TV ads, and $18,258 on cable TV.
