Trump reaches poll watcher parity in Pinellas, but not in Tampa
Donald Trump's squad of Election Day poll watchers -- you know, the people on the lookout for a "rigged election" -- was greatly outnumbered by Hillary Clinton's team during early voting in Tampa Bay.
Next Tuesday is a different story. The Pinellas elections office reports that Trump signed up 94 poll watchers to monitor precincts on Election Day, compared to 110 for Clinton, but she has four times as many poll watchers in Hillsborough as Trump (220 to 55).
Republican U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio and the Republican Party also have poll watchers in both counties, who will augment Trump's poll watchers, campaign manager Susie Wiles has said. Pinellas will have 301 precincts on Tuesday and Hillsborough will have 341 precincts.
