Fla Dems executive director heading to Louisiana for gov race

Scott Arceneaux, the Agin' Cajun (belated happy 45th birthday, Scott) who serves as executive director of the Florida Democratic Party, is returning to the his native bayou country to help Democrats win Louisiana's governor's race against Republican U.S. Sen. Dave Vitter.

Vitter, narrowly made it into a run-off election, and now faces a tough challenge from Democratic state Rep. John Bel Edwards, who finished first in Saturday's primary.

"The DGA called and asked me to help out, so I'm going to take a few weeks off to help elect a Democratic governor in Louisiana, Areneaux told Buzz.
