Florida Chamber of Commerce members in Washington to press trade
Florida Chamber of Commerce members are in Washington today for a three-day canvassing of Capitol Hill.
The Chamber's "fly-in" aims to discuss transportation infrastructure, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, Regulatory Accountability Act, labor and water issues and the mosquito-borne virus Zika.
The group plans to meet with Sens. Bill Nelson and Marco Rubio, Rep. Vern Buchanan and others. "Additionally, the Florida Chamber Foundation will present Florida 2030, a two-year research program that will help stimulate strategic thinking about Florida’s future, during a group presentation to the Florida’s Congressional Delegation," according to the group.
