Florida reaction to Donald Trump's huge night
RPOF Chairman Blaise Ingoglia: “The Florida GOP would like to congratulate Donald Trump on his big win in Indiana tonight and becoming the presumptive Republican nominee for President. Now, we must all come together as a party and complete the task at hand, which is defeating Hillary Clinton in November. A Clinton presidency would be disastrous for this country, our military, our debt, our freedoms and the Supreme Court. ... The Florida GOP would like to thank Senator Cruz for his spirited effort during the Presidential primary and keeping the focus where it should be…on the Constitution. We look forward to him continuing to defend that cherished document, as well as our freedoms, in the U.S. Senate."
DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz: “Tonight, Donald Trump is the Republican Party. Ted Cruz may have been the least-liked politician in Washington, but Trump is one of the least liked men in America, and Democrats will hold him accountable for his offensive rhetoric, dangerous ideas, and lack of judgment every single day between today and November 8th."
Mac Stipanovich (Twitter): "No. Not one vote from me or my kin, and not one dollar that might help elect Trump. #NeverTrump."
Brian Ballard (Twitter) "Time to accept @realDonaldTrump is the GOP nominee. Voters get to choose not the elites."
Ana Navarro: "At the start, nobody had the Conservative bonafides to match Cruz. Could have called Trump a phony Conservative then. Instead, he sucked up. I prefer Cruz to Trump, though makes my teeth hurt. BUT, Cruz dug his own grave. Didn't unmask Trump when had chance."
