Florida's 'historic' presidential primary results certified
From the News Service of Florida:
Gov. Rick Scott and other members of the state Elections Canvassing Commission on Tuesday formally certified the results of the March 15 presidential primaries won by Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner said turnout was 46.23 percent.
"Every election is different, but that is an historic turnout,'' Detzner said. "I am pleased to report that people have options in voting now. People can vote early, they can vote by mail and they can vote on Election Day."
