For Crist's 57th, special wishes from ... you know who

Republican Party of Florida

Charlie Crist turns 57 Wednesday.

The former Republican governor and possible Democratic candidate for governor in 2014 is sure to get birthday wishes from near and far, and of course the Republican Party can't let the moment pass without sending along its wishes, in the form of a cut-and-paste card that's a mix of dour headlines from his four-year term in office. This Hallmark moment includes "Jobless rate keeps climbing," "Home sales keep sliding," Misery goes on for South Florida sellers," and the icing on the cake is that memorable image from the birthday party that was thrown for Crist by Scott Rothstein, the disgraced Fort Lauderdale lawyer and fund-raiser who ended up going to prison.

Clearly they spend a lot of time at GOP headquarters plotting their next move on Crist, and there's only 468 days until the 2014 general election.
