Hillary Clinton campaign opening Tampa office on Thursday
Hillary Clinton's campaign will open a Tampa office Thursday evening with State Rep. Janet Cruz and Sen. Arthenia Joyner joining grassroots supporters.
The office will be in Ybor City at 2209 E 7th Ave. It opens at 6 p.m., with the program starting at 6:45 p.m.
"Tampa represents a critical community in choosing the president, and the Hillary for Florida office opening reflects the excitement of the people to get involved," Joyner said. "Hillary Clinton's campaign is about making sure every American has a seat at the table. She will work tirelessly to make good jobs and a good education available in every zip code, including Tampa. Donald Trump has continuously demonstrated that he is unfit and unqualified to be president, and would do serious harm to our economy. In order to secure the future of our city, state, and nation, we must act now to elect Hillary Clinton as our next president."
Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn: "The path to the White House goes through Tampa and our community's involvement is critical to the success of Hillary Clinton's campaign in Florida. For our voters in Tampa, the choice could not be more clear. Hillary Clinton is committed to building an America that is stronger together and an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top. Donald Trump continues to divide our nation with bigoted language and dangerous ideas. With too much at stake in this election, I encourage the people of Tampa to get involved and ensure Hillary Clinton is our next president."
