House Speaker Paul Ryan pulls $2.7 million out of Florida
House Speaker Paul Ryan pulled $2.7 million out of Florida in the first quarter of 2016, contributing to a $17 million haul he’ll need to protect the GOP majority in the House heading into an tough election season.
Major Florida contributors included the Falic family of South Florida, which owns Duty Free Americas Inc. Six Falic members gave Ryan’s committee $15,000 a piece in late February for a total of $90,000.
