in Pinellas congressional race, one more endorsement, one more attack ad
It was a busy day in Pinellas County's congressional race, with a debate, a story about a long-ago traffic accident, reports on campaign spending and other developments filling the day. But wait, there's more!
Republican candidate David Jolly won the endorsement of the statewide Fraternal Order of Police, with the group saying he is best-suited to continue the work of his former boss, the late U.S. Rep. C.W. Bill Young. "It was unquestioned that David will continue Bill Young's legacy," said the FOP's Jonathan Walser.
Meanwhile, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committe sent out a new attack ad against Jolly.
