Is Donald Trump moving toward Rubio and Bush on immigration?
Donald Trump’s muddy, shifting stance on immigration -- even floating the idea that people living here illegally can stay if they pay some penalty -- has fans of Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush alternately appalled and feeling vindicated.
Twitter has lit up with people saying Trump sounds like the two Floridians he brutally criticized over immigration. Others went after Ann Coulter for her advocacy of Trump.
((KimWriteInRubio)) @hawaiigirl53: @realDonaldTrump so you're agreeing with @marcorubio position that you hammered him over during primaries
suzopedia @suzopedia: @AnnCoulter Difference between this and @marcorubio? @JohnKasich? #sad
Joseph Zucofski @jwzgames2u: @AnnCoulter So why was it amnesty when @marcorubio proposed the same exact thing Trump is proposing now as comprehensive immigration reform?
Susan Goldstein: @susangoldstein: So here comes the general election flip: @realDonaldTrump is now saying he'll do exactly what he criticized @marcorubio for suggesting #Jerk
The Reagan Battalion @ReaganBattalion: WATCH! @jeffsessions & Trump have now adopted the exact same position on immigration as @marcorubio! WORD FOR WORD! pic.twitter.com/aEtKP1wXr5
a.James92 @AllenJames92: @JebBush Called it on the wall and immigration #TrumpFlops
@thierry_B_A: @ByronYork @AnnCoulter @realDonaldTrump owed @JebBush and @marcorubio a big apology. Write this in your next article please.
Ti Jean Redux @radiator9987: @KellyannePolls why does #DangerousDonald sound like @JebBush talkin bout imigration tonight?
