Jessica Ehrlich out raises Bill Young
Jessica Ehrlich says she raised nearly $154,000 in the second quarter, about $67,000 more than Rep. C.W. Bill Young, though the long-time Pinellas County Republican has a $112,000 advantage with cash on hand.
“Speaking with voters every day, I hear again and again that they are tired of Congressman Young’s broken, dysfunctional politics in Washington and are ready for new leadership who will listen and understand what families are going through in Pinellas," Ehrlich said in a statement.
Her campaign said from April 3 to June 30, she raised $153,737 from 487 donors and is reporting $130,872.32 cash-on-hand. Ehrlich raised nearly twice as much as she did in her first reporting period last cycle, including four times as many contributions and nearly twice as much cash-on-hand, according to the campaign.
