Maryland Gov. O'Malley, looking at presidential run, to campaign for Crist
Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, who is considering a run for president (and a challenge to Hillary Clinton) is headed to Florida.
Reports the Washington Post: O’Malley "has a full day scheduled Sept. 20 that includes fundraising meetings, campaigning for Charlie Crist, the state’s Democratic nominee for governor, and an appearance at a Democratic party reception, aides said."
In April, O'Malley came out in support of Crist over fellow Democrat Nan Rich. The Wall Street Journal this week reported that O'Malley has signed to donors that he would run in a primary even if Clinton does, a departure from past form.
