Mike Fasano: For first time in my life, I may skip voting for prez

In the biggest battleground region in the biggest battleground state in America, you would be hard-pressed to find any politician of either party more popular than Mike Fasano. The New Port Richey Republican is the maverick, consumer-oriented former state Senator whom Gov. Rick Scott appointed as Pasco County Tax Collector in 2013 mainly to rid himself of the headaches Fasano would cause when he so often objected to utility rate increases or other GOP policies that Fasano saw as hurting "the little guy and gal" back home.

Who will get his vote for president?  "I am a die hard Republican. I registered to vote as a Republican the day I turned 18. But I'm disappointed that this may be the first time first presidential election in my lifetime when I don't vote in that race...I'm definitely not voting for Hillary Clinton, and right now I can't vote for Donald Trump...It concerns me how he treats people. It concerns me greatly how he makes fun of people," said Fasano, 58, who supported Democrat Charlie Crist for governor in 2014 and Democrat Amanda Murphy to succeed him in the House in 2013.
