New Rubio ad tells a compassionate story
Marco Rubio released a new ad today that highlights a woman praisng him for getting her daughter a cancer drug that was still in FDA trials.
"He got me the medication within a week," the woman says. "Thanks to Marco, I had three more months with my daughter. Marco Rubio was there for me when I needed him most. “
The ad is paid for by the NRSC, not Rubio's campaign, and is at least the third example of that. The RPOF has also favored Rubio over his challenger Carlos Beruff. In the 2010 Senate race, Rubio was on the opposite side, with the establishment throwing its weight behind Charlie Crist.
The help is allowing Rubio to keep his own spending relatively light until after the primary.
