Poll: Charlie Crist 44%, Rick Scott 40%
Finally a Florida poll that Rick Scott may like. A Sept. 30 - Oct. 8 poll of registered voters by the Univerisity of North Florida finds expected Democratic gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist leading Gov. Scott 44 percent to 40 percent. That's within the poll's margin of error of 4.27 percent.
Scott leads Democrat Nan Rich 43 percent to 28 percent.
Forty nine percent said they approve of Rick Scott's performance and 42 percent disapprove.
All these numbers are far better for Scott than any other recent public poll.
Fifty-four percent of Florida's registered voters feel that Medicaid should be expanded, but only 41 percent would be willing to pay more for health care, so that everyone has access to healthcare.
