Rubio allies watching Beruff's every word
When Senate candidate Carlos Beruff appears before a group of Republican women in Tampa on Monday, an opponent will likely slide into the back of the room to capture it on video, hoping for a slip-up.
Trackers are standard but it’s notable that this one is working on behalf of Marco Rubio, another sign of his sweeping advantage over Beruff.
The tracker works for America Rising, the GOP opposition group.
President Joe Pounder, who worked on Rubio’s first Senate campaign and the presidential run, said America Rising is “actively engaged on the ground in Florida in a number of races and is active in Senate races across the country working with great Senate Republicans like Marco Rubio.”
Rubio is far ahead of Beruff in the polls and is scooping up endorsements and campaign cash.
We understand there are often two trackers following around Beruff, suggesting the other works for Democrats.
