Super PAC supporting Carlos Lopez-Cantera ramps up staff
A Super PAC supporting Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera's U.S. Senate campaign continues to add staff. This morning Reform Washington announced it was bringing on a veteran fundraiser who worked on Gov. Rick Scott's 2010 campaign.
Virginia Haworth, who most recently served as the finance director for Scott's PAC, Let's Get to Work, will be part of a fundraising team that already includes, Meredith O'Rourke, another veteran from Scott's Let's Get to Work committee.
The chairman of Reform Washington is former Florida House Speaker Dean Cannon.
Lopez-Cantera is one of five Republicans running to replace U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, who is not seeking re-election. U.S. Reps. David Jolly and Ron DeSantis, businessman Todd Wilcox, and Manatee County developer Carlos Beruff are also running in the GOP primary.
