The polls are looking better for Donald Trump in Florida
Florida’s presidential election is looking increasingly like a Florida presidential election: razor thin. At the start of the week, the average of recent Florida polls showed Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump by 4 percentage points — a blowout by Florida standards. By Thursday afternoon, her lead had shrunk to 1.6 percentage points and that did not even include an obscure robopoll showing Trump up 3 points. Some of the polls are more suspect than others, but the bottom line: Florida could go either way.
It's also worth noting that over the last 48 hours, the GOP's advantage in votes cast has actually grown a little, and not shrunk with early voting underway. Republicans lead by more than 14,000 votes.
