Three Florida Republicans object as House approves $622 million for Zika
Three Florida Republicans broke ranks late Wednesday as the GOP-led House approved a $622 million Zika plan.
Those against were Reps. Vern Buchanan, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Carlos Curbelo. The other Republican against it was Justin Amash of Michigan.
All Democrats but three voted against the proposal, which is at odds with the $1.1 billion approved Tuesday by the Senate and the $1.9 billion the White House wants.
The two chambers now must work out a compromise.
