President Obama's visit to MacDill Air Force Base this afternoon marks his 47th visit* to Florida since he was first elected -- and perhaps his last.

Obama was last in Florida on Nov. 6 for a large rally in Kissimmee. A few days earlier he visited Jacksonville.

In Tampa, he will visit with active duty service members and give a speech on counterterrorism.

* Mark Knoller of CBS News is the unofficial keeper of presidential travel records and tells us Florida has been a top three destination for President Obama. The others: New York and Ohio. The records do not include visits to the greater Washington areas of Maryland and Virginia.
