Trump has gained in Florida as Rubio slips, poll shows
In Monmouth University's poll of likely Florida voters, published today:
Donald Trump: 44 percent (up from 38 last week)
Marco Rubio: 27 percent (down from 30)
Ted Cruz: 17 percent
John Kasich: 9 percent
Margin of error: +/- 4.9 percentage points
Rubio holds lead among minority voters, mainly Cuban and other Hispanics, 41 percent to 35 percent over Trump. But Trump has a 46-23 edge among non-Hispanic whites. "Florida is do or die for the Rubio campaign, but it looks like victory may have slipped from his grasp," said pollster Patrick Murray.
