Trump prepares for rally tonight in Pensacola
Tonight, Donald Trump will take the stage before a crowd that could be in the thousands.
He'll speak at 7 p.m. CST in the Pensacola Bay Center, which can hold up to 10,000 people, according to its website.
The event is sandwiched between President Barack Obama's final State of the Union address Tuesday and a Republican presidential debate scheduled for Thursday night in South Carolina.
With Florida's presidential preference primary about two months away, the Panhandle is an important conservative stronghold for the Republican frontrunner to shore up support. In the western Panhandle congressional district where he's speaking tonight, 52 percent of voters are registered Republicans.
