Trump will visit MacDill Air Force Base on Monday

WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump will visit MacDill Air Force Base on Monday, the White House said on Friday.

Trump will get a briefing from leaders at United States Central Command and United States Special Operations Command, have lunch with service members and deliver remarks, press secretary Sean Spicer said.

It is Trump's first visit to Tampa as president.

The president will be joined by Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Joseph Dunford and national security advisor Michael Flynn.

Trump is heading later Friday to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach for the weekend.
