Union hits Rubio for vote to fast-track TPP
The AFL-CIO says it's sending out a fresh round of mailers in Florida to highlight Sen. Marco Rubio's position on an array of issues, including the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
Rubio has been supportive of free trade agreements and TPP and voted to give President Obama fast-track authority. But over the past year the Republican has backed away from the deal. His posture underscores the eroding support for the deal amid highly public attacks by Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump.
The union said it's sending out 60,000 mailers.
