Brooks, Selmon kick off NFL Network's top 100 show
For those of you in the area who are fortunate enough to get the NFL Network, you're in for a treat this Friday. The NFL Network begins the first of a 10-part series naming the greatest 100 players in NFL history. And two Bucs -- Derrick Brooks and Lee Roy Selmon -- will appear in the first show, which will unveil players 91 through 100. The show, which is called The Top 100: NFL's Greatest Players, debuts Friday night at 10 p.m. and will run 10 consecutive weeks. Each player will be "presented'' by a famous football person. Brooks will be presented by former Bucs coach Jon Gruden, while Selmon will be presented by former NFL general manager Ron Wolf. The top 100 players of all time were selected by a panel that included current and former general managers, coaches, players, historians and Hall of Fame voters.
